It may not be very bright, but it can glow all the time you press it. It is better to rely on the phosphor, which have a limited time to glow.

Overall: This watch has a very sturdy, slightly thicker than other digital watches (compared to the basic DW-6900), well built water-resistant watch, and possesses a decent amount of basic functions. It was great to watch everyone's satisfaction, affordable, and ideal for buying it as a gift to your loved ones.
